• Camira Street – Break and Enter [Front door – Cash/keys/jewellery/medication/garage remote – 16/09/2019]
• Highview Terrace – Motor Vehicle theft [White Toyota Camry Rego (QLD 041 YZK) – 13/09/2019 to 16/09/2019]
Toowong:
• Birdwood Terrace – Break and Enter [Front door – Blue BMW 4281 rego (QLD 982 YLG) – 16/09/2019]
• Sylvan Street – Wilful Damage [Vehicle window – 22/09/2019]
Fig Tree Pocket:
• Fig Tree Pocket Road – Break and Enter [Kitchen Window – Game Station/games/laptops/computer accessories/passport/house keys/liquor/sporting equipment – 22/09/2019]

Brisbane City Council has identified the Moggill Road and Coonan Street intersection at Indooroopilly as a location for a future upgrade to improve safety and reduce congestion.

Now the consultation period begins! Council is inviting the community to provide feedback on two design options at community information sessions. These sessions will allow community members to provide feedback and talk about the upgrade in-person with the project team.

The heat is on!

But don’t worry about the smoke that you might see today. Council has advised there’s going to be a back burn on Mt Coot-tha this morning, starting at 9:30.

41ha will be burned off between Sir Samuel Griffith Drive and the Western Freeway and the Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens.

Toowong, Chapel Hill and Indro might get some smoke but it’s expected to clear pretty soon.

Staff will also be on site Friday to ensure safety of the site. Public access to the Citriodora and Frogmouth Trails may be closed for up to two weeks after the burn.
